My second attempt at a Blog

December 14, 2012.  I am going to display my process and ideas.  In the last few years I have been painting "Mother and Child" subjects for my paintings, and have been interested in the work of Marija Gimbutas, an Archaeologist, who was a professor at UCLA.  She focused on "Old Europe" and published her ideas in a book entitled "The Language of the Goddess".  I have used her work to draw on Paleolithic patterns and meanings in my artwork.
